# The capacity reduction battle for white feather meat ducks has begun: 9 million breeding ducks have been eliminated, and in the future, 30% of breeding duck enterprises may still exit

According to interviews with reporters, from the end of December last year until now, white feather meat duck breeding ducks have been continuously losing money for more than 7 months. Starting in April this year, at the urging of relevant white feather meat duck breeding enterprises, the industry began to reduce production capacity. So far, about 9 million breeding ducks have been eliminated, and the daily hatchling output has decreased by around 2 million, but it is still significantly higher than market demand. Industry insiders indicate that the market is about to enter a more brutal phase of passive elimination, and in the near future, it is possible that 30% of breeding duck enterprises will be forced to exit the industry.
