# HYMD issued a profit warning, expecting a net loss attributable to shareholders of 129 million yuan for the half-year

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, HYMD (600971.SH) announced that the company expects to report a net loss attributable to the owners of the parent company of 129 million yuan for the first half of 2025, which represents a loss compared to the same period last year. The net profit attributable to the owners of the parent company for the same period last year was 758 million yuan.

The decline in profit this period resulting in a loss is mainly affected by the decrease in coal sales prices and the reduction in coal sales volume, with the comprehensive sales price of coal decreasing by 292.36 yuan/ton year-on-year, a decline of 30.63%, and the sales volume of commercial coal decreasing by 504,700 tons year-on-year, a decline of 13%
