# Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg Says Going To Invest Hundreds Of Billions Of Dollars Into Compute To Build Superintelligence- Threads

> Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced plans to invest hundreds of billions of dollars into computing to develop superintelligence. He stated that the company has the capital to support this investment and aims to build a highly skilled team. The initiative includes the construction of Hyperion, which will scale up to 5GW, and the establishment of Meta Superintelligence Labs, which will feature industry-leading computing capabilities. The first multi-GW cluster, named Prometheus, is expected to go online in 2026, with additional Titan clusters planned.
