# Chitianhua subsidiary Anjia Mining suspends production

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, Chitianhua (600227.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Guizhou Anjia Mining Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Anjia Mining") experienced an accident around 2:30 AM on July 15, 2025, resulting in one injury, which later led to death despite rescue efforts. Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident was caused by a water burst in the coal bin of Anjia Mining, where water flowed down from the upper part of the main inclined shaft, knocking down one worker and rolling him down to the bottom of the shaft. The specific cause is still under further investigation. In accordance with relevant regulations, all operational activities in the mine have been suspended during this period, except for ventilation, drainage, and gas inspections. Anjia Mining is currently shut down and will implement corrective measures as required after being assessed by relevant government departments, with production resuming only after passing the procedural acceptance.
