# In the first half of the year, CAMCE signed new contracts totaling USD 2.139 billion, a year-on-year increase of 33.35%

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CAMCE (002051.SZ) disclosed its operating conditions for the second quarter of 2025. In the second quarter of 2025, the company signed 3 important new contracts in its international engineering business, with a total contract value of USD 428 million, including: Phase II of the 500,000 tons/year soda ash plant project in Zhambyl Region, Kazakhstan (Segment 1 and Segment 2), design consulting for the Tohaileke Hospital project in Ethiopia, and the mechanization center for rice in Jigawa State, Nigeria. In the first half of 2025, the company cumulatively signed 10 important new contracts in its international engineering business, with a total contract value of USD 1.126 billion; the effective contract value for international engineering contracting business was USD 973 million, a year-on-year increase of 36.66%. As of the end of June 2025, the company had 39 projects in execution in its international engineering business, with a contract balance of USD 9.545 billion.

In the second quarter of 2025, the company signed new contracts worth CNY 1.7 billion in its domestic engineering contracting business, including: EPC general contracting for the environmental adaptability laboratory project of electromechanical equipment in plateau areas, and the equipment upgrade project for the 4A scenic area cableway in Zhiba Mountain, Liuba County; the new contract value for consulting and design business was CNY 749 million, including: the whole-process engineering consulting service project for the agricultural science and technology industrial park project of 1 million laying hens in Handan City, Hebei Province, the construction project of the new urban area of Foshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and the data center projects of SPD Bank and Lingerer. In the first half of 2025, the cumulative new contract value for the company's domestic engineering contracting business was CNY 2.275 billion, and the cumulative new contract value for consulting and design business was CNY 949 million. As of the end of June 2025, the contract amount for signed but uncompleted projects in the domestic engineering contracting business was CNY 4.596 billion, and the contract amount for projects that had been bid but not signed was CNY 73 million; the contract amount for signed but uncompleted projects in the consulting and design business was CNY 3.999 billion, and the contract amount for projects that had been bid but not signed was CNY 126 million.
