CHINA VERED FIN (00245.HK) issued a profit warning, expecting a net profit of no less than HKD 600 million for the six months ending in June, compared to a loss of HKD 20.6 million in the same period last year. The turnaround from loss to profit is mainly due to significant investment income from the group's holdings in e Toro Group (ETOR.US) of no less than HKD 700 million; a reduction in employee costs and related expenses; and a decrease in provisions for impairment of financial assets
