# MICROPORT EP: IceMagic ® balloon-type cryoablation catheter has obtained EU MDR certification

According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, MICROPORT EP (688351.SH) has recently obtained the certification for its IceMagic® balloon cryoablation catheter under the EU Medical Device Regulations (The Medical Device Regulations (EU) 2017/745, referred to as "MDR").

As of the announcement date, all components of the IceMagic® cryoablation system independently developed by the company have received certification under the EU Medical Device Regulations, marking the official entry of the company's cryo product series into the international market. This will promote the company's overseas collaborative layout of "radiofrequency + cryo" products, continuously enhance the company's brand awareness abroad, and have a positive impact on the company's expansion into overseas markets
