The S&P 500 Index preliminarily closed up 0.7%, with the healthcare sector rising 2%, industrial and energy sectors at least up 1.5%, the technology sector up 0.6%, and the telecommunications sector up 0.2%.  
The Nasdaq 100 Index preliminarily rose 0.3%, with constituent stocks Baker Hughes up 11.7%, CoStar up 6.8%, Palantir up 3.6%, and Pinduoduo ADR up 3.1% performing well. Meanwhile, "Bitcoin whale" MSTR fell 3.2%, ADI fell 3.5%, ON Semiconductor fell 4.8%, Microchip Technology fell 6.8%, and Texas Instruments fell 13.5%
