# Hong Kong Stock Midday Review: Hang Seng Index down 1.11%, Hang Seng TECH Index down 1.69%

As of the midday close, the Hang Seng Index fell by 1.11%, and the Hang Seng TECH Index dropped by 1.69%. On the market, online education stocks, film and television stocks, lithium batteries, and rare earth permanent magnet sectors saw the largest declines, while pharmaceutical outsourcing concepts, logistics, chips, semiconductors, and domestic property stocks experienced the largest gains.
