# The Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index rose by more than 2%, and semiconductor chip stocks strengthened in the afternoon

The market experienced fluctuations throughout the day, with the three major indices slightly declining. The Sci-Tech Innovation 50 Index rose over 2% in the afternoon, with semiconductor stocks collectively strengthening; ACETRON hit the daily limit, and Cambricon and others rose over 10%. AI application sectors showed strength, with INSIGHT and Hanvon hitting the daily limit. On the downside, stocks related to the Yajiang Hydropower Station concept collectively adjusted, with Huaxin Cement, Nankuang Group, and several others hitting the daily limit down. More stocks declined than rose, with nearly 2,800 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets showing losses, and today's trading volume reached 1.82 trillion. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.33%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.22%, and the ChiNext Index fell 0.23%
