# ZHONGSHENGYAOYE: The active pharmaceutical ingredient of aluminum chlorobenzoate has received approval for the listing application of chemical raw materials

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, ZHONGSHENGYAOYE (002317.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Guangdong Xianqiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., recently received the "Approval Notice for the Listing Application of Chemical Raw Materials" for the active pharmaceutical ingredient aluminum chlorobenzoate issued by the National Medical Products Administration.

Aluminum chlorobenzoate is a lipid-regulating drug derived from chlorobenzoic acid, which does not decompose in the stomach and is non-irritating to the stomach. It decomposes into chlorobenzoate in the alkaline environment of the intestine to exert its effects. Aluminum chlorobenzoate achieves lipid-lowering effects by reducing the amount of very low-density lipoprotein. As an active ingredient, it is used in products such as Lipid-Lowering Ning Tablets (Anluoning Tablets), Compound Mao Dongqing Aluminum Chlorobenzoate Tablets, and Aluminum Chlorobenzoate Tablets
