# Tencent officially released and open-sourced the industry's first 3D world generation model

> During WAIC, Tencent released and open-sourced the industry's first 3D world generation model - the Hunyuan 3D World Model 1.0. This model allows users to generate a navigable 3D world in minutes using a sentence or an image, significantly shortening the production cycle. In addition, Tencent plans to open-source more models, including edge-side hybrid inference large language models and multimodal understanding models

On July 27th, at the Tencent AI Forum during WAIC, Eddie Wu, Vice President of Tencent Cloud, Head of Tencent Cloud Intelligence, and Head of Tencent Youtu Lab, announced that Tencent officially released and open-sourced the industry's first 3D world generation model—Hunyuan 3D World Model 1.0. Users can generate a navigable 3D world within minutes by simply inputting a sentence or an image. This allows for the output of standardized 3D assets, significantly shortening production cycles. In addition, he revealed that many more models will be open-sourced soon, such as edge-side hybrid inference large language models and multimodal understanding models. (All Weather Technology)
