# July 28th midday closing review: The ChiNext Index rose 0.1% after a peak and then retreated, with computing hardware stocks strengthening again

The market rose sharply in the morning and then fell back, with the three major indices showing mixed results. Stocks in the PCB and other computing hardware sectors strengthened again, with FASTPRINT and Junya Technology hitting the daily limit, and Shenghong Technology rising over 10% to reach a new high. Film and television stocks performed actively, with OMNIJOI and CFC hitting the daily limit. Pharmaceutical stocks surged during the session, with Chenxin Pharmaceutical, Fengyuan Pharmaceutical, and Haizike hitting the daily limit. On the downside, resource stocks such as coal and steel adjusted, with Shanxi Coking Coal and Liugang Co., Ltd. falling over 5%. More stocks declined than rose, with over 2,900 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the red, and a total transaction volume of 1.14 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.17%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.16%, and the ChiNext Index rose 0.1%
