# EASYHOME owner passes away

According to reports from mainland media, Wang Linpeng, the chairman, CEO, and actual controller of one of the leading furniture retail chains in mainland China, EASYHOME (000785.SZ), is suspected to have fallen to his death. The stock price of the company hit the limit down yesterday, closing nearly 7% lower.

The board of directors of EASYHOME announced last night that they received notification from Wang Linpeng's family that he unfortunately passed away at home on July 27.

All directors of the company have elected Wang Ning, a director and CEO, to temporarily perform the duties of chairman, legal representative, CEO, chairman of the board's strategy and investment committee, and chairman of the board's budget committee. The company's operations are normal
