# NCPC: Adenosylcobalamin Capsules (0.5mg) have obtained the drug registration certificate

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, North China Pharmaceutical (600812.SH) announced that the company recently received the "Drug Registration Certificate" for Adenosylcobalamin Capsules (0.5mg) approved and issued by the National Medical Products Administration.

This product can inhibit abnormal fat synthesis in nerve myelin, blocking the occurrence and development of nerve fiber demyelination; promote protein and lipid synthesis, repair damaged nerves; reduce abnormal TNFα levels, inhibit the occurrence of SACD, participate in the tricarboxylic acid cycle, promote the metabolism of the three major substances, and maintain normal cell function; normalize glutathione levels to protect nerve cells; participate in heme synthesis to improve anemia. Adenosylcobalamin is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of vitamin B12 deficiency, as a supplement when dietary intake is insufficient due to increased demand (in cases of wasting diseases, hyperthyroidism, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, etc.), and for megaloblastic anemia
