# ZJJF: Englitazone has received approval for the listing application of chemical raw materials

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, ZJJF (600668.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Zhejiang Jianfeng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. ("Jianfeng Pharmaceutical") recently received the "Approval Notice for the Listing Application of Chemical Raw Material Drug Empagliflozin" from the National Medical Products Administration (Notice No.: 2025YS00624).

Empagliflozin is a sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor. It is used as an adjunct therapy to improve blood glucose control in adult patients with type II diabetes in conjunction with exercise and diet. Empagliflozin can block the reabsorption of glucose in the kidneys, allowing excess glucose to be excreted from the body, thereby achieving a reduction in blood glucose levels. Moreover, this hypoglycemic effect does not depend on β-cell function and insulin resistance. As of the date of this announcement, there are a total of twenty-eight companies with an "A" status on the CDE raw and auxiliary material registration information platform, including Jiangsu Hengrui Medicine Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd
