# A-share closing review: The Shanghai Composite Index fluctuated widely, rising 0.17%, with the film and theater sector strengthening across the board

The three major A-share indices showed mixed results. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.17%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 0.77%, the ChiNext Index dropped by 1.62%, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index decreased by 1.75%. The total trading volume in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets reached 1.871 trillion yuan, an increase of 41.7 billion yuan compared to the previous day. Over 3,500 individual stocks declined. In terms of sectors, the three-child policy and film theater sectors rose, while the battery, digital currency, and diversified finance sectors adjusted. On the market, the three-child policy sector fluctuated and strengthened, with stocks like Beingmate and Timeless hitting the daily limit. The film theater sector strengthened across the board, with OMNIJOI hitting the daily limit, and Jinyi Media and Ciwen Media also reaching the daily limit. The battery sector adjusted, with Xinyu Ren falling over 7%. The digital currency sector weakened, with Dongxin Pinghe hitting the daily limit and Hengbao Co., Ltd. dropping over 8%. The diversified finance sector experienced fluctuations and adjustments, with Nanhua Futures and PetroChina Capital falling over 7%
