# GANSU EC received approval for the resumption of production at the No. 1 well of its subsidiary Wangjiashan Coal Mine

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, GANSU EC (000552.SZ) announced that on May 19, 2025, a sudden water inflow accident occurred at the No. 1 well of the Wangjiashan Coal Mine branch of GANSU JINGMEI Energy Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Jingmei Company"), leading to a production halt.

Recently, Jingmei Company received the "Approval from the People's Government of Baiyin City regarding the resumption of production at the Wangjiashan Coal Mine branch of GANSU JINGMEI Energy Co., Ltd. for the No. 1 well" (Municipal Letter \[2025\] No. 34). According to the expert group's opinion on the resumption inspection, the Wangjiashan Coal Mine branch's No. 1 well meets the safety production conditions and is eligible for resumption of production, thus agreeing to resume operations
