# BEST LINKING Holdings issued a profit warning, expecting a mid-term net profit decline of approximately 85% to 95% year-on-year

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, BEST LINKING (09882) announced that it expects the group's net profit for the mid-2025 period to decline by approximately 85% to 95% compared to the unaudited net profit of about HKD 9.9 million for the same period in 2024.

The announcement stated that the expected decrease in net profit is mainly due to the following factors: a decrease in gross profit margin attributed to changes in the product mix, despite an increase in sales of new machinery and minerals (which have lower profit margins), while sales of slewing bearings (which have higher profit margins) decreased; fair value losses recognized on financial assets measured at fair value through profit or loss; and an increase in selling and distribution expenses during the mid-2025 period, including but not limited to freight costs
