# APALT plans to acquire ALUnited, which focuses on the research and manufacturing of key safety components for passenger vehicles

According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, APALT (002540.SZ) plans to acquire 100% equity of Alunited France SAS and Alunited Denmark A/S for €1.533 million in cash through its wholly-owned subsidiary APALT (Hong Kong) Development Co., Ltd. (referred to as "APALT Hong Kong"). After the completion of this equity acquisition, APALT Hong Kong will increase the capital of the target companies by €1.467 million for production and operation, with funding sourced from the company's own or raised funds. Upon completion of this transaction, the company will hold 100% equity of Alunited France SAS and Alunited Denmark A/S through APALT Hong Kong.

The announcement states that ALUnited is a leading enterprise in the manufacturing of high-end automotive safety-critical aluminum components in Europe, with advanced factories located in Louviers, France, and Thisted, Denmark, established in 1994 and 2009 respectively. ALUnited possesses a full-chain process covering extrusion molding, precision machining, surface treatment, heat treatment, and assembly integration, focusing on the research and manufacturing of key safety components for passenger vehicles, including aluminum parts for collision systems, body systems, braking systems, and battery storage systems.

The acquisition of ALUnited aims to build the company's core capabilities in the global high-end automotive safety components sector: by integrating its advanced manufacturing system in safety-critical aluminum components with localized production bases in Europe, it will strengthen the company's vertical technical capabilities in strategic areas such as passenger vehicle collision safety, body structure, braking systems, and electrification storage components; at the same time, it will leverage its established supply chain channels with luxury car manufacturers and the reputation in the European market to accelerate the company's global high-end manufacturing layout, ultimately achieving a comprehensive strategic upgrade goal from technological synergy to market penetration
