# GON: The subsidiary plans to invest 960 million yuan to build a PEEK materials project

GON announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang GON Chemical Co., Ltd., plans to invest 960 million yuan to build a 1,000 tons/year new polyether ether ketone and polystyrene engineering materials polymerization pilot platform and a 300,000 tons/year modified and composite materials project. The total area of the project is 100,400 square meters, approximately 150.6 acres, and it plans to construct 2 polyether ether ketone material polymerization production lines, 1 set of polystyrene engineering materials polymerization pilot platform equipment, and 36 modified and composite materials production lines. The funding for the project will come from its own funds
