# KTAI plans to establish an automotive carpet production base in Morocco to expand into the European market

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, KTAI (001260.SZ) announced that due to business development needs, it plans to invest in Morocco through KTAI Hongjing Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of KTAI) to establish a subsidiary and set up a production base, with a total investment not exceeding 100 million yuan.

The announcement stated that the establishment of an automotive carpet production base in Morocco aimed at the European market is intended to build a production and development platform in the European region, promote the research and development, production, and sales of automotive carpets, and simultaneously establish a localized service network in Europe to better serve customers in the region and meet the strategic development needs of the company's expansion into the European market
