# GLOBAL BIO-CHEM's subsidiary has signed an EPC contract with Northeast Electric Power and Liaoning Electric Power for the boiler renovation project

According to the announcement from GLOBAL BIO-CHEM (00809), the bidding was successfully closed on July 14, 2025, and Changchun Dahe (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) signed an EPC contract with the joint bidders Northeast Electric Power and Liaoning Electric Power on July 31, 2025. According to the EPC contract, the contractor will be responsible for the project engineering design, procurement, construction, installation, calibration, and testing operations related to the boiler renovation project, with a maximum cost of RMB 129.1 million (including the maximum bonus for early completion).

The boiler renovation project includes: (i) the construction of a new 150 tons/hour ultra-high temperature and ultra-high pressure circulating fluidized bed boiler, along with new heating device facilities; (ii) the construction of flue gas dust removal and denitrification devices, reusing the existing desulfurization devices; (iii) the establishment of new slag removal and ash transportation, coal loading, and dust removal systems; (iv) the establishment of a new full-membrane seawater desalination water system (partially reusing existing components); (v) the installation of thermal supply instruments and control systems, while carrying out integrated control transformation; (vi) the construction of a related comprehensive automation system and updating the original systems (including the drainage and water supply systems in the plant area, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as related greening and paving)
