Additionally, during the F1 race period from October 3 to 5, American Express will showcase a women-owned small business brand to enhance its international exposure In addition, during the Formula 1 race in Singapore from October 3 to 5, American Express will select a local woman-owned small business to showcase her brand on the Formula 1 Academy car, helping local businesses gain international exposure through broadcasts in over 160 markets. American Express launched the "Shop Small" local consumption rebate campaign in Singapore for the sixth time, encouraging cardholders to support neighborhood small businesses while helping small enterprises expand their customer base and brand influence. The campaign runs from August 1 to August 31, and eligible card members who register for "Shop Small" offers on the American Express app or website can receive a cash rebate of SGD 3 for every SGD 10 spent at approximately 3,500 participating merchants, with each member eligible for up to five rebates. One of the participating merchants, professional photography equipment retailer Cathay Photo, stated that the campaign successfully helped the company reach more new customers.
