# ECH plans to establish a joint venture with Yuyuan Rare Earth to develop advanced materials for lithium-ion solid-state batteries

According to the announcement from Zhitong Finance APP, Shanghai ECH (603200.SH) stated that the company plans to establish a joint venture with Yuyuan Rare Earth New Materials Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Yuyuan Rare Earth"). The newly established subsidiary will have a registered capital of 200 million yuan, with the company contributing 165 million yuan in cash and non-cash assets, accounting for 82.5% of the registered capital, while Yuyuan Rare Earth will contribute 35 million yuan in cash, accounting for 17.5% of the registered capital. The non-cash assets include technology, equipment, and other assets related to lithium sulfide business acquired by the company through the Beijing Property Exchange.

It is reported that this external investment to establish a holding subsidiary will help further enhance the company's comprehensive competitiveness in the field of advanced materials for lithium-ion solid-state batteries
