# WING FUNG GROUP issued a profit warning, expecting a mid-term net loss of approximately HKD 2 million to HKD 3 million, a year-on-year turnaround from profit to loss

According to the announcement from WING FUNG GROUP (08526), the group expects to incur a net loss of approximately HKD 2 million to HKD 3 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025 (the relevant period), compared to a net profit of approximately HKD 2.3 million for the same period in 2024.

The announcement stated that the expected loss during the relevant period is mainly due to the economic downturn causing project delays, resulting in a revenue decrease of approximately HKD 11.6 million; and multiple project delays leading to cost overruns, which significantly reduced the expected gross profit margin of the group's projects
