# The latest research results of Chang'e 6 lunar samples have been released

According to the National Space Administration's Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center, Chinese scientists have revealed the "super-reduction" state of the lunar mantle deep in the landing area of Chang'e 6 through the study of basalt samples collected from the far side of the moon. This indicates that these lunar mantles are more primitive or have been affected by large impacts. The related results have recently been published in an international academic journal. (CCTV News)
