# HES: Due to suspected unit bribery, the company and former chairman Dai Baolin have been prosecuted

According to the announcement from HES (002963.SZ), on August 7, 2025, the company received an "Indictment" from the People's Procuratorate of Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, prosecuting the company and its former chairman and general manager, Mr. Dai Baolin, for suspected unit bribery.

According to the "Indictment," on December 12, 2024, the Xinzhou District Supervisory Committee of Wuhan City initiated an investigation into the suspected illegal activities of Dai Baolin, who was then the chairman and general manager of the company, and implemented detention measures against him from December 12, 2024. On April 22, 2025, the Xinzhou District Supervisory Committee lifted the detention of Dai Baolin. On June 19, 2025, the Xinzhou District Branch of the Wuhan Public Security Bureau executed an arrest of Dai Baolin. On August 7, 2025, the company received the "Indictment" from the People's Procuratorate of Xinzhou District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, prosecuting the company and Dai Baolin for suspected unit bribery. The case is currently in the stage of being prosecuted and awaiting the first-instance trial. The company will continue to monitor the progress of the above events and fulfill its information disclosure obligations in a timely manner
