# August 11th Midday Review: The ChiNext Index rose nearly 2% in half a day, with over 4,200 stocks in the entire market rising

The market fluctuated and strengthened in the morning, with the ChiNext Index rising nearly 2%. The PEEK materials concept surged, with ZXFC and KINGFA hitting the daily limit. Lithium mining stocks collectively strengthened, with TIANQI LITHIUM and JIANGTE MOTOR also reaching the limit. The PCB and CPO sectors related to computing hardware performed well, with Weirgao and Huazheng New Materials hitting the daily limit. On the downside, gold stocks experienced fluctuations and adjustments, with Chifeng Gold falling over 4%. Individual stocks showed a general upward trend, with over 4,200 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the green, and a total transaction volume of 1.15 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.51%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.48%, and the ChiNext Index rose 1.99%
