# HSBC's cross-border account opening service points in Hong Kong have increased to 67

> With the expansion of cross-border witnessing account opening services to all mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area, HSBC Hong Kong announced the provision of branch services for the HSBC China Greater Bay Area Renminbi Class II settlement account witnessing, increasing from 22 to 67 branches. The account opening process has also been significantly simplified, allowing customers to complete the procedures at the branch just once, with the fastest opening of a Greater Bay Area Class II account possible within two working days. Customers can transfer funds from their HSBC Hong Kong Renminbi account to the Greater Bay Area Class II account and link it to mainland third-party payment service electronic wallets for daily consumption and payments in the mainland
