# The national rural credit reform has entered the "deep water zone," and Gansu Rural Commercial Bank is on the verge of emergence

Recently, Gansu Jinchang Rural Commercial Bank and Gansu Yongchang Rural Commercial Bank both announced that they will hold temporary shareholder meetings on August 20, with the agenda being "Reviewing matters related to the establishment of Gansu Rural Commercial Bank." In 2023, the Gansu provincial government work report proposed the "Establishment of Gansu Rural Commercial Union Bank," but in a follow-up report by a journalist in March this year, Gansu Province has switched its reform route and will promote the establishment of a unified legal entity model for "Gansu Rural Commercial Bank."
