The former "King of Color TVs," Konka, recently held a professional integration conference, announcing that it has officially become a business unit under the technology and emerging industries department of China Resources Group.

Wang Xiangming, Chairman of China Resources Group, stated that this integration is an important measure to enhance the core functions of state-owned capital investment companies and strengthen core competitiveness. He also mentioned that the overall progress of the integration work is smooth, and the next step for Konka is to further clarify its strategic direction, optimize resource allocation, and enhance its technological capabilities, management capabilities, and market competitiveness.

Li Zhenqi, Deputy Director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, expressed hope that Konka's integration into China Resources Group could accelerate its transformation and upgrading; strengthen technological innovation to achieve new breakthroughs in key core technology areas; promote integrated operations to achieve new results in institutional and mechanism reforms; and serve regional development to create a model of mutually beneficial cooperation between central and local entities.

Shenzhen Mayor Qin Weizhong pointed out that Shenzhen is actively cultivating and expanding the "20+8" strategic emerging industry clusters and future industries, accelerating the creation of a globally leading advanced manufacturing center and an industry technology innovation center with significant global influence.

Qin Weizhong hopes that China Resources Group will continue to increase its investment layout in technological innovation and strategic emerging industries in Shenzhen. Shenzhen will fully support state-owned central enterprises like China Resources and Konka, as well as a wide range of private enterprises, to strengthen and grow, striving to achieve more high-level mutually beneficial outcomes.
