# The micro-drama market is expected to exceed 100 billion yuan by 2027, and concept stocks are making gains today

On August 18th, short drama concept stocks collectively surged, with Huazhi Digital Media, HUACE FILM & TV, Ciwen Media, Jishi Media, and Huanrui Century hitting the daily limit. As of now, six short drama concept stocks have increased by over 50% this year, namely Jishi Media, Happy Blue Ocean, Zhejiang Wenlian, Huanrui Century, Perfect World, and New Torch Network. In terms of institutional attention, a total of 14 short drama concept stocks received "positive" ratings from more than five institutions. The stock with the most institutional ratings is Mango Excellent Media, reaching 23. This is followed by Wanda Film, Perfect World, and Yaoji Technology. The 2024 China Micro Short Drama Industry Research Report shows that in 2024, the market size of China's micro short dramas will exceed 50.5 billion yuan, surpassing box office revenues and becoming an important growth point for online audio-visual income, with strong growth in application development downloads, product theme selection, and coverage of segmented markets. Industry reports predict that the market size of micro short dramas will exceed 68 billion yuan by 2025 and break through 100 billion yuan by 2027
