# CRYPTO FLOW issued a profit warning, expecting a mid-term net loss of no less than HKD 23 million, an increase compared to the same period last year

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CRYPTO FLOW (08198) announced that it expects the group to incur a net loss of no less than HKD 23 million for the six-month period ending June 30, 2025 (subject to auditor review and depending on the valuation of stock options), compared to a net loss of approximately HKD 3 million for the six-month period ending June 30, 2024 (the same period). The increase in net loss is mainly due to one-time stock option expenses related to the granting of stock options during this period; increased R&D expenses for the Web 3.0 business; and net impairment loss provisions recognized during this period based on the expected credit loss model (impairment losses), while approximately HKD 5 million of impairment losses were reversed in the same period
