According to data from online platforms, as of August 18 at 14:28, the box office for the 2025 film market summer season has surpassed 10 billion yuan. "This year's summer season has strong momentum!" said Chen Jin, a data analyst from Lighthouse Professional Edition. With more than ten days remaining until the end of the summer season, the total box office is expected to exceed last year's figures ahead of schedule, laying a solid foundation for the annual box office goal of 50 billion yuan. On August 18, the film and television sector in the A-share market performed excellently, with Huazhi Shumei and HUACE FILM & TV hitting the 20% limit up; Ciwen and Huanrui Century also hitting the limit up; in the Hong Kong stock market, Ningmeng Film and Television rose over 21%.
