# CNOOC's self-developed laser cloud platform methane remote sensing instrument is put into use

According to CNOOC, recently, the methane remote sensing instrument with a laser cloud platform independently developed by CNOOC has been officially put into use at the Phase I site of the Gas and Electricity Group in Guangdong. This equipment can build an all-weather, no-dead-angle methane leakage monitoring network for six core sites of the Guangdong pipeline and Zhuhai pipeline. The device was developed by CNOOC EnerTech and is part of the "Hailong" safety series products, achieving a new breakthrough in the field of gas monitoring
