Over 20 titanium dioxide production companies announce price increase
After experiencing a prolonged period of low prices, titanium dioxide companies have once again concentrated on announcing price increases as the "golden September and silver October" approach. Recently, a price increase notice circulated in the market indicating that, based on current market conditions, LB Group has decided to raise the sales prices of all types of titanium dioxide by RMB 500/ton for domestic customers and by USD 70/ton for international customers starting from August 18, 2025. "Once the news broke, several manufacturers announced price increases, and some titanium dioxide companies even issued notices to suspend order acceptance. The notice stated that, based on the trend of titanium dioxide market fluctuations, the company has decided to suspend order acceptance for titanium dioxide sales immediately, and to postpone the delivery of existing orders as much as possible until the market becomes clearer," said a person from the industry chain. Zhuochuang Information titanium dioxide analyst Sun Shanshan told reporters that this price increase by many companies is the first increase in the industry after the last announcement in March, marking the first price adjustment in the second half of the year. Longzhong Information titanium dioxide analyst Lu Jiaxin also confirmed that the recent price increase announced by LB Group is a common situation in the industry. Following LB Group's price adjustment notice, most domestic titanium dioxide companies have gradually followed suit, with over 20 production companies officially issuing price increase notices to date
