# CHINA ALUMCAN announced its interim results, with a profit attributable to the parent company owners of HKD 13.956 million, a year-on-year decrease of 13.79%

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, CHINA ALUMCAN (06898) announced its mid-term results for 2025, with revenue of approximately HKD 118 million, a year-on-year decrease of 1.71%; profit attributable to the parent company was HKD 13.956 million, a year-on-year decrease of 13.79%; basic earnings per share were HKD 0.015.

The announcement stated that the decline in net profit was mainly due to the net impact of the following factors: (i) intensified industry competition in the domestic market, leading to a decrease in product sales prices; and (ii) the implementation of strict cost control measures to reduce general indirect expenses
