# OPPO responds to Apple's lawsuit against employees for theft of trade secrets: has not infringed on Apple's trade secrets, believes that a fair judicial review can clarify the facts

> OPPO responded to Apple's lawsuit against its employee, stating that it did not infringe on Apple's trade secrets. Apple accused a former employee of stealing core trade secrets before leaving and providing them to OPPO. OPPO's legal department stated that it has reviewed the relevant allegations and found no evidence related to the employee's conduct during their time at OPPO, emphasizing that it will actively cooperate with legal proceedings and looks forward to a fair judicial review to clarify the facts

According to foreign media reports, Apple recently filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, accusing a Chinese architect of the former Apple Watch sensor system of systematically stealing a series of core business secrets before leaving the company and joining OPPO, providing this information to OPPO for the development of wearable devices. In response to this matter, OPPO's legal department stated: We have noted the lawsuit recently filed by Apple in California and have carefully reviewed the allegations in Apple's complaint, finding no facts to support that these allegations are related to the employee's conduct during their employment at OPPO. OPPO respects the trade secrets of any company, including Apple, and has not infringed upon Apple's trade secrets. OPPO will actively cooperate with the legal proceedings and believes that a fair judicial review will clarify the facts
