# BNMC: Net profit in the first half of the year was 98.8835 million yuan, turning a profit compared to the same period last year

BNMC disclosed its semi-annual report for 2025 on the evening of August 25, reporting an operating income of 357 million yuan for the first half of the year, a year-on-year decrease of 55.99%; net profit attributable to shareholders was 98.8835 million yuan, turning from a loss to a profit year-on-year; basic earnings per share were 0.052 yuan. The decline in operating income compared to the same period last year was mainly due to the fact that the coke oven equipment was in a state of suspension for maintenance during the reporting period, resulting in no production of coke and chemical products, which caused a year-on-year decrease in coke revenue of 573 million yuan, and a year-on-year decrease in revenues from crude benzene, tar, and methanol of 27 million yuan, 41 million yuan, and 47 million yuan, respectively
