# MetaLight released its interim results, reporting a loss of 126 million yuan during the period, turning from profit to loss year-on-year

> MetaLight announced its interim results for the period ending June 30, 2025, with revenue of 96.973 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.61%. However, during the period, it incurred a loss of 126 million yuan, compared to a profit of 226,000 yuan in the same period last year, indicating a shift from profit to loss. The basic loss per share was 1.69 yuan. The announcement pointed out that the revenue growth was mainly due to the enhancement of mobile advertising services, particularly the expansion of bus information services and public transportation analysis platform business

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, METALIGHT (02605) announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2025, with revenue of RMB 96.973 million, an increase of 7.61% year-on-year; the loss for the period was RMB 126 million, compared to a profit of RMB 226,000 in the same period last year, resulting in a year-on-year loss; basic loss per share was RMB 1.69.

The announcement stated that the increase in revenue was mainly due to the rise in income from mobile advertising services. This was primarily due to (1) the company's continued provision of high-quality public transport information services to users in the first half of 2025, which led to growth in both the cities served and the number of users, driving an increase of RMB 5.7 million in mobile advertising services; and (2) the company's ongoing expansion of its public transport analysis platform business in the first half of the year, collaborating with more transportation agencies (such as local transportation authorities and bus companies), resulting in an increase of RMB 1.2 million in data technology service revenue
