# Insurance capital's movements in the second quarter exposed: digging for gold in industries such as chemicals, machinery, and electrical equipment

With the gradual disclosure of the 2025 semi-annual reports of listed companies, the investment trends of insurance funds are also coming to light. Recent statistics by reporters show that, based on over 1,600 listed companies that disclosed their 2025 semi-annual reports before August 24, in the second quarter of 2025, insurance funds entered the top ten circulating shareholders of more than 120 listed companies; at the same time, over 260 listed companies saw their insurance fund shareholders increase their holdings among the top ten circulating shareholders. From the perspective of insurance funds entering the top ten circulating shareholders of listed companies, industries such as chemicals, machinery, electrical equipment, and hardware equipment have been favored by insurance funds, with more than 10 listed companies welcoming insurance funds as new shareholders. For example, listed companies such as YTH, NBTM, Zhongjian Technology, Jingsheng Electromechanical, and Xiangdian Co., Ltd. all have insurance funds appearing among their top ten circulating shareholders
