# AirPods Pro 3 may cancel the physical pairing button

According to reports, the charging case for Apple AirPods Pro 3 is expected to eliminate the traditional physical pairing button on the back and introduce a touch control area on the front of the charging case. Users will be able to quickly skip songs, pause music, and adjust the volume by sliding the earphone case, making the user experience more in line with Apple's family-style "gesture interaction logic."
