# ANTA SPORTS plans to establish a joint venture with MUSINSA to jointly operate the South Korean fashion business

According to the announcement from Anta Sports (02020), a subsidiary of the company (Anta) has entered into a joint venture agreement (Joint Venture Agreement) with MUSINSA Co., Ltd. (MUSINSA). Under this joint venture agreement, Anta and MUSINSA agree to establish a joint venture company to jointly operate Korean fashion business in mainland China, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, and the Macao Special Administrative Region of China (Joint Venture Arrangement). Anta and MUSINSA will hold 40% and 60% equity interests in the joint venture company, respectively.

The cooperation with MUSINSA reflects the group's constructive exploration of the fashion industry through strategic investment under the core strategy of "single focus, multi-brand, globalization." As "the integration of sports and fashion" is becoming a lifestyle today, the group is committed to exploring the combination of sports and fashion through various means to better meet the diverse consumption needs of young consumers. The group will fully leverage its unique advantages of "brand + retail" and its rich experience in full value chain management in the footwear and apparel industry to empower the business development of the joint venture company, providing more personalized and differentiated choices for young consumers who love sports and fashion. MUSINSA will oversee and manage the business operations of the joint venture company through the management team, while the group will exercise strategic and financial oversight functions through representatives on the joint venture company's board of directors.

MUSINSA is one of the largest fashion platform companies in South Korea, with its fashion platform including MUSINSA, 29CM, EMPTY, and SOLDOUT. With MUSINSA's diverse brand portfolio and unique design style, its own brand MUSINSA STANDARD has been selected to design and supply the uniforms for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2024 Paris Olympics for the South Korean delegation. While consolidating online sales channels, MUSINSA has been expanding offline retail in South Korea since 2021, enhancing interaction with consumers and their shopping experience, thus achieving rapid growth
