# CHINFMINING released its interim results, with a profit attributable to shareholders of USD 263 million, a year-on-year increase of 20.2%

> CHINFMINING released its interim results for the period ending June 30, 2025, with a profit attributable to shareholders of USD 263 million, an increase of 20.2% year-on-year. The group's revenue was USD 1.752 billion, a decrease of 12.9% year-on-year. In terms of copper and cobalt mining and smelting, the group operates in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, producing 111,283 tons of crude copper, a decrease of 30.4% year-on-year; and 72,192 tons of cathode copper, an increase of 15.6% year-on-year

According to the Zhitong Finance APP, China Nonferrous Mining (01258) announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2025, with the group achieving revenue of USD 1.752 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 12.9%; profit attributable to shareholders was USD 263 million, a year-on-year increase of 20.2%; basic earnings per share were approximately 6.75 cents.

As a rapidly developing leading vertically integrated copper producer, the group focuses on the mining, beneficiation, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, and sales of copper and cobalt in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The group also produces sulfuric acid as a by-product during the pyrometallurgy process.

The group's operations are primarily conducted by the following companies: China Nonferrous Africa Mining located in Zambia, China Nonferrous Luanshya Copper Corporation Limited, Chambishi Copper Smelter and Chambishi Hydrometallurgy, as well as China Nonferrous Huaxin Hydrometallurgy Limited, China Nonferrous Huaxin Mabenede Mining Limited, Luanshya Copper Smelter, and Kananga Mining Simplified Joint Stock Company located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

From January to June 2025, the group produced a total of 111,283 tons of crude copper and anode copper, a year-on-year decrease of 30.4%; produced a total of 72,192 tons of cathode copper, a year-on-year increase of 15.6%; produced a total of 481 tons of cobalt hydroxide containing cobalt, a year-on-year increase of 1.7%; produced a total of 538,433 tons of sulfuric acid, a year-on-year decrease of 1.9%; produced a total of 1,466 tons of liquid sulfur dioxide, a year-on-year decrease of 85.5%; and the group processed copper products for external enterprises totaling 102,708 tons, a year-on-year increase of 152.9%
