Tencent has open-sourced the translation model Hunyuan-MT-7B, which achieved excellent results at the 2025 Conference on Machine Translation (WMT2025). According to the competition results, Hunyuan-MT-7B ranked first in 30 out of 31 mainstream and niche languages tested, including Chinese, English, French, German, Marathi, Estonian, Icelandic, Finnish, Hungarian, Romanian, Persian, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Urdu, and Sinhala.
