# Supporting Lithium Battery Export, Xiamen Releases the First National Special Contract Template

> On September 1st, the "Model Contract for Maritime Cargo Transportation of Containerized Lithium Battery Energy Storage Systems" was officially released in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone. This is the first specialized contract model in the country focusing on the maritime transportation of containerized lithium battery energy storage systems, filling the gap of a unified standard contract text for the maritime export of lithium battery energy storage systems. It facilitates all parties in the industry to further clarify responsibilities, enhance consensus, and collaboratively build a new situation of high-level safety and high-quality development for the lithium battery industry "going global."
