# On September 2nd, Tencent spent HKD 550 million to repurchase 913,000 shares

According to the announcement from Tencent Holdings (00700), the company repurchased 913,000 shares at a cost of HKD 550 million on September 2, 2025, with a repurchase price per share ranging from HKD 599.5 to HKD 608.

On the same day, 91,600 shares were issued as a result of exercising stock options under the 2023 stock option plan adopted on May 17, 2023
