Reuters São Paulo, September 2 - Petrobras (PETR4.SA) CEO Magda Chambriard stated on Tuesday that demand for its products from India and China has remained strong, noting that these two countries could shield the company from potential tariffs imposed by the United States.

Chambriard said at an event hosted by Bloomberg in São Paulo that if U.S. President Trump imposes tariffs on Brazilian oil imports, the country can "easily adjust its export direction."

"India has indicated to Brazil and Petrobras that it can be a buyer of any products we wish to export," she said
