The report pointed out that NIO's total revenue in the second quarter increased by 58% quarter-on-quarter, and the gross profit margin improved to 10%. Although the operating loss narrowed by 25% to RMB 4.5 billion, management expects record deliveries in the third quarter, with a target of an average monthly sales of 50,000 vehicles in the fourth quarter. Sales forecasts were raised to 335,000 and 450,000 vehicles, and revenue forecasts were also adjusted upward Bank of China International published a research report indicating that NIO (09866.HK) saw a 58% quarter-on-quarter increase in total revenue for the second quarter, in line with expectations, but the structural performance was mixed. Although the vehicle profit margin remained stable, the overall gross margin increased by 2.4 percentage points quarter-on-quarter to 10%, benefiting from new high-profit technology research and development services. After excluding one-time expenses related to institutional optimization, the operating loss for the second quarter narrowed by 25% quarter-on-quarter to RMB 4.5 billion, with the narrowing speed slightly faster than expected. The bank noted that the company's third-quarter performance guidance hinted that September deliveries would reach a record 35,000 to 39,000 vehicles. Management reiterated its fourth-quarter targets, including achieving an average monthly sales volume of 50,000 vehicles and a vehicle profit margin of 16% to 17%, consistent with the non-GAAP breakeven target. Bank of China International stated that it has raised its sales forecasts for this year and next year to 335,000 vehicles and 450,000 vehicles, respectively. The revenue forecast for this year has been raised by 6.4% to RMB 83.5 billion, and the revenue forecast for next year has been raised by 10% to RMB 117.3 billion. Considering the faster-than-expected reduction in losses, the bank adjusted its non-GAAP net loss forecasts for this year and next year to RMB 12.6 billion and RMB 6.4 billion, respectively. The bank raised its target price for NIO's U.S. stock from $9.5 to $10.5, maintaining a "Buy" rating ### Related Stocks - [NIO.SG - NIO Inc.
